#DurbsThursdays has always been about discovering great things to do in Durban. This Thursday, we take a look at the KZN Beach Clean Up, which is a durban based organisation that focuses on improving the quality of our oceans and teaching our youth about the value of contributing towards a sustainable future.

The KZN Beach Clean Up has been around since 2011 and takes place every 3rd Saturday of the month, with the exception of World Oceans Day and other internationally recognized initiatives. It started off as a once-off between a group of friends, but with the overwhelming response received via social media, it soon became a monthly event.

Now, hundreds of volunteers gather together on clean-up days to lend a helping hand in the pursuit of cleaner oceans and beaches, cultivating young minds in the process to leave a better earth for the generations to come.

Become a part of the future and help KZN Beach Clean Up leave a legacy!
