Chatsworth Stadium is a multi-purpose venue primarily used for football. It holds an important place in South African football history, having served as the home ground of Manning Rangers from 1985 to 2006. Manning Rangers were champions of the inaugural Premier Soccer League season, giving the stadium notable heritage value within the professional football landscape.
More recently, the stadium has become the home ground of Durban City F.C., continuing its role within the professional football structure. The venue regularly hosts PSL matches as well as youth league fixtures.
The stadium is owned and operated by the eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality under the Stadia and Facilities Unit.
