This June, Moses Mabhida Stadium proudly plays host to one of South Africa’s most powerful cultural showcases — the 4th Annual Ingoma KaZwelonke.
Presented in partnership with the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government and ILANGA Newspaper, this highly anticipated event brings together traditional music groups from across the nation in a spectacular display of sound, spirit, and heritage.

From the soul-stirring harmonies of Impiyasencome and Ikusasa Elihle to the commanding presence of Abafana Benhlangwini, Ingquza, and Isixaxa Sabathembu, this year’s lineup reflects the rich diversity and depth of South African traditional music.
The programme features:
- Headlining Performing Groups: Including Uphaphasi, Ubumbano Lwasemphangeni, Amavulandlela, Isixaxa Sonongoma Namahlabathi, EzikaMafika, and Abafana Bakwaphezulu — among many others.
- Guest Groups: Showcasing regional favourites like Ezikasqogoza, Isangena, Oahwekazi Team Blue, Ezamedletsheni, and Izingony Zomlilanga.
