For the first time ever in music history, the pioneers of synth-pop will perform live in Durban, at Moses Mabhida Stadium!
Pet Shop Boys transformed the stage at Taste of Sonar in Johannesburg and are coming to blow Durban away at People’s Park on Friday 19 December.
Their dazzling ‘Electric’ show makes use of innovative stage production, with lighting and set design created in collaboration with Es Devlin, who has worked with Lady Gaga, Kanye West & Jay Z, Take That and the 2012 Olympics’ Closing Ceremony. Expect cutting-edge audio-visuals, original choreography, four outfit changes and, of course, lots of amazing hits from the iconic UK duo who have sold over 50-million records worldwide. The Durban show is presented by East Coast Radio and also features local talent Goldfish, Goodluck and DJ Coco Loco.
With over 50-millions records sold worldwide, twelve top 10 studio albums, forty top 20 singles, four number one records, three Brit Awards and seven Grammy awards, this is one performance you definitely do not want to miss!
Expect to hear songs from across their entire career including global chart-toppers like ‘West End Girls’, ‘It’s a Sin’ and ‘Always on My Mind’, songs from their recent acclaimed Stuart Price-produced album ‘Electric’, and classics like “Suburbia” and “Go West”.
