Spar Women’s 5/10 km Race

Irvette van Blerk took no hostages in winning the 22nd Durban SPAR Women’s race in a new personal best time of 32 minutes 50 seconds. SA v India international Pro20 Cricket & New Age Freedom Concert

The Twenty20 cricket match between South Africa and India was played for the Krish Mackerdhuj Trophy, which India won by 21 runs. The biggest ever crowd, at 52 000, for a cricket match on the African continent turned out to witness Makhaya Ntini’s final match ahead of retirement.
